Hades & Persephone (approx. 45 mins)

Monday 9 – Thursday 12 November

Hades & Persephone is a sensory dance performance created for people with profound and multiple learning disabilities and/or additional sensory needs. Smell sweet pomegranates, feel the rough earth against your skin and get lost in an epic love story told through live music and dance .

The performance begins in the garden of Demeter and Persephone, a warm and cosy place full of bird song. When Persephone discovers an old wooden puppet dressed in fluorescent robes, she becomes curious about where it has come from.
