The Undiscovered Island Saturday Opening!

Step into a magical underwater world at LEVEL Centre this Saturday 13 June! The Undiscovered Island is open from 11am to 3pm – drop in, no need to book!

Discover a giant domed cave and unique corals that glow with light and tell stories of the deep! Step across interactive musical stones, and unwind in a tranquil coral garden. It’s so beautiful!

The Undiscovered Island inspires visitors to think about how we can all play a part in preserving the beauty and biodiversity of our oceans, through fun, play, and exploration!

– PLUS create your own snazzy seashell, curious coral or superstar sea creature at our fun air dry clay making workshop!

– AND, visit our Sensory Garden for a wonderful pop up exhibition by our LEVEL HED group, showcasing their passion for environmental issues through upcycled objects and materials. Don’t miss out!

Sea creatures made from brightly coloured air dry clay

Underwater World Clay Workshop – 11am to 3pm

Join in our fun air dry clay workshop and create your own snazzy seashell, curious coral or superstar sea creature with artist Hannah! Take your creation home to brighten up a windowsill and remind you of your visit to The Undiscovered Island! Drop in sessions.

LEVEL HED Pop Up Exhibition – 11am to 3pm

Head up to our our Sensory Garden to experience a wonderful pop up exhibition by our LEVEL HED group, showcasing their passion for environmental issues through upcycled objects and materials. The exhibition forms part of their Natural Connections project with Derbyshire Wildlife Trust. The group will be on hand to tell you all about their work!
