LEVEL BLEND
LEVEL BLEND is our expressive arts group for young people aged 8 – 13 years old.
Our expressive arts blended sessions are for young people who have mild to moderate learning disabilities and those who don’t.
Activities will Include movement, storytelling, characterisation, dance and more. Sessions are all about creative learning at the same time as having fun, and socialising with other young people.
LEVEL BLEND will run as drop in sessions from 4:45-5:45pm each Tuesday from April 2025 – March 2026. First session free!

Participants will:
- Learn different creative and expressive skills
- Become confident in creating ideas and putting them into practice
- Have fun in a supportive environment
- Be invited to future events and exhibitions at Level
- Be invited to take part in work experience at LEVEL Centre
These sessions are for young people who:
- are aged 8-13 years old.
- have mild to moderate learning disabilities and those who don’t.
Schedule:
The Sessions will run on a Tuesday afternoon from 4:45-5:45pm.
From April 2025 until March 2026.
Cost:
£5 per person donation on a drop in basis per session. Space is limited, please register your interest in advance to secure a place.
Facilitator: Phil Pearson
Phil has worked in SEN education for more than 20 years and co-leads a Nottingham based adult theatre company. He’s a freelance artist working across the East Midlands using his skills in audio and visual software technology to support schools, communities and theatre spaces. Phil likes to build sessions around music composition, movement and drama, leading to performances that complement the group’s work and ideas.
