LEVEL Nature Makers
Explore nature through creativity with LEVEL Nature Makers.
LEVEL Nature Makers is our new fortnightly group for young people aged 10-16. Explore nature through activities such as outdoor arts and crafts, bushcraft skills, discovering habitats, learning more about the natural world through your senses and lots more!
Nature Makers is a blended session with a focus on supporting young people who are neurodivergent, are autistic and/or have ADHD. Sessions are facilitated by Kenning Park Community Forest School founder and leader Michaela Garner. This wonderful outdoor programme gives young people space and time to develop their interests and grow in confidence.
Nature Makers sessions take place on site in our Bio-diverse Sensory Garden and nearby at Peak Village Nature Reserve. Places are limited so please scroll down to register your interest using the button below. Sessions are free to attend (a voluntary £5 donation is welcomed) and run from 5pm-6:30pm every other Tuesday.
Participants will:
- Learn different outdoor skills
- Explore nature through creativity
- Develop interests or maybe find new ones
- Grow in confidence
- Become part of the LEVEL community
- Be invited to other events and exhibitions at LEVEL Centre
These sessions are for young people who:
- are aged 10-16 years
- may or may not be autistic/ASD and/or Neurodivergent (ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia etc.)
Schedule:
Sessions run fortnightly on a Tuesday afternoon from 5-6.30pm.
Cost:

Michaela is a fully qualified Forest School leader and trainee bush craft instructor with over 5 years experience. Founder and leader of Kenning Park Forest School, Michaela was recently awarded Volunteer Of The Year at the Voluntary Sector Awards.
