Creative Facilitator

LEVEL is looking for a creative facilitator who has experience of working with people with Profound Multiple Learning Disabilities, to work on a 6 week multi-sensory project.

We’re looking for an engaging facilitator to develop 6 sensory, interactive and exciting workshops which are tailored to suit the individuals in the group and their interests. Experience of adapting content to suit different audiences is important, as well as using different communication methods e.g. makaton or intensive interaction. 

LEVEL Centre is a contemporary arts centre so all our workshops creatively explore different art forms. We would particularly welcome applications from facilitators with experience of working across visual, performing and digital arts. 

Essential requirements:
  • Experience of working with people with PMLD

  • Available on Mondays from 1.30pm – 4.30pm, from 7 November to 12 December 2022. 

  • A clear enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check or be willing to undertake one

  • Your own valid public liability insurance 

  • Must have the right to work in the UK  

Fee:

We are committed to providing fair pay for all creative facilitators and artists we employ. 

  • Work includes 6 half day sessions across 6 weeks and 2 half-day planning sessions. 
  • Total fee: £1200 (includes any travel costs and personal expenses)
