“Being in residence at the LEVEL Centre allowed me to further develop my ideas surrounding grounding and non-verbal communication in movement. Having the studio every day during my time with LEVEL was a dream. Bouncing thoughts and ideas off the team felt beneficial to my practice and helped steer and collate my thoughts in and out of the space. My time at LEVEL also consisted of a day’s workshop where I invited dance artists Kiera Sanderson and Anand Boon Wongpaisan to help fill the space with these themes, this was captured by photographer Ray Gumbley. I am very grateful to have been hosted at LEVEL Centre – and hope to further create on these same themes, with the view to engage a wider audience soon.”
