Play LAB

12 January – 14 April 2023
John Whall presents Play LAB, a new immersive interactive installation. Play LAB explores the notion of a shared, playful experience. It looks at the different ways of playing and what creative play means to individuals and groups. Play LAB was made in collaboration with digital workshop participants from JT Projects and Alderwasley Hall School. The project explores an artistic journey that brings community made artwork to gallery audiences.

Come and experience creative play both in the physical and digital world! Fill the room with 3D digital shapes and play with digital toys, in a laboratory like you’ve never seen before. Play LAB uses large scale projection, screen-based visuals and physical objects.
